Super quick post on Impress Press On Manicure by broadway Nails. I know I've done quite a few posts raving about these nails but I honestly do love them. They are so quick to apply and are long lasting. I found the basic 'colour me' set to be amazing when painted. They hold any polish you put on them really well, giving an opaque colour and increasing wear time. They allow me to have nice nails and interchange my nail colour frequently. I like!
These nails, still by broadway, are 'Rock it' and they are the already painted faux manicure. Id say they were the least natural looking of the ones I've tried, but I think all nails with this sort of finish (the typical french manicure) are really unnatural looking. I haven't worn these nails for very long so far (I will update!) but they seem really secure like the 'colour me' ones. I have also tried the ready painted black ones and found them to not be as secure. The only thing I would point out with this particular set, is that they are slightly longer than normal, I think to give a full manicure effect. I really like the look of these nails, despite being obviously fake.
A girl at work recently had her nails done professionally with a shellac french manicure, and although they looked amazing, they really ruined her nails. At £6.99 (offer at Superdrug currently, normal price £7.99) I think these are a great alternative for a speedy manicure for a special occasion or a treat! They last well, obviously not as long as a acrylic, but with my past experiences with impress, I think definitely worth the price tag.
If I ever want a french manicure style nail again I'll be turning to these. I usually wear the 'colour me' nails and put my desired polish on them and find that works best for me. For now, Im liking the finish of these nails, but as soon as I get bored Ill wack a polish over them and spice it up.
I think at the rate I'm going with Impress nails, Ill have to start buying them in bulk!
