Tones of Purple

MUA's Lovehearts Collection has taken the blogger world by storm, especially a certain nail polish!

U ROK is a beautiful blue based purple. The polish gives quite an impressive coverage on the nail, and at only £2.oo, a total bargain. It's completley unique and unlike anything in my

collection.

However, when I went to purchase the £2 dream nail polish, it was sold out. So I perused the isles for another colour to wear, as I was going on a night out that night, and I had my heart set on that dreamy purple blue..haha ohh how sad I am!

I found a similar colour, from what I could tell from the pictures of the MUA polish, from Rimmel London, called Aqua Cool, no: 420.

This polish was £4.99, and I wore it on the night out, I was quite impressed.

I only put one coat of the Aqua Cool on, and It lasted 3 days, a few chips but with one coat that was to be expected!

When I saw they had restocked the MUA Lovehearts collection, I almost didnt buy the U ROK colour, as I thought Id found a good long lasting dupe. I did give in to temptation, and buy the U ROK and Im so glad i did!

The colour is totally different (from a blogger perspective haha) and U ROK goes on my nails better, dries faster and a much more opague colour. Ive applied the colour to both fake nails and real, and it looks fab on both.

So I'd say, go for the dupe if you want a cooler blue purple, but if you love purple blue, get your mits on U ROK. Ill definatley be buying a back-up, and I may even buy the red colour...decisions decisions!
