Yet another hair drama..

So to cut a long story short, (literally ;-) ) I decided that I needed to give my hair a good old rest. Going from extremes of blonde to blue back to blonde and just basically messing my hair about for the past month and a half has really taken its tole on my hair.

Even though I got my hair safely back to blonde, I never wore it like that, I always wore my wig on a day to day basis because my hair looked so weak. So with a brave smile, I booked into the hair dressers, after an attempt to dye my extensions brown.

I really wanted a 'Cheryl Cole alike' hair style, big bouncy and long. I had a plan to dye my extensions and hair at home as usual, so I purchased 2 boxes of dye. I did my extensions first and they went black. I hadn't expected them to go so dark! I (thankfully!) decided, after lots of stressing , to book into the hairdressers. This was massive as I haven't had a hair cut in about a year and a half.

Results!

 

I am literally over the moon!!!!! This is the best Ive felt about my hair in aaages!!! Unfortunately I had to cut it soooo short, (something I really didn't want to do) but I love it! I think its a perfect maintainable style for everyday and so chic and simple! I cant tell you how positive I feel about my hair now!! I feel so much better, I really wish I'd taken a before and after! I'll probably still wear a wig on nights out to feel a bit more girly, but for now, I'm just so confident with my new cut and colour! Healthy hair FTW!

HUGE thankyou to my hairdresser Helen for the suggestion of this style. I was truley gutted when she told me I had to take the length away but I think It was such a good decision now, and my hair looks a million times better! Couldnt be happier!
