DISCO DISCO / AA VS MISSGUIDED

Ive owned the black disco pants for about a year now, and I must say although Ive worn them a lot, I don't think Ive worn them anywhere near the amount of my Primark leggings through summer. Im really hoping the Disco pants make a cool comeback for me during winter. I seriously love the look of them, but recently, I've just been too interested in dresses and skirts.

Despite this new love of skirts, I did purchase the American Apparel Deep Peacock disco pants for a whopping £74 + delivery (!!!) with my birthday money. I love the colour of them, how the suck me in and look stylish. Pictures of other people in them really influenced my decision to purchase them. I had them for 2 weeks and I never wore them once. Sad times Disco Pants.

I kept looking at them and telling myself I'd wear them. I took some photos of an outfit with them and liked it. I just was a bit nervous to wear the bright green colour. So I decided to eBay them off.

As soon as I ebay-ed them, I kind of regretted it.. I liked the colour, and liked them, but just couldn't justify the price tag, so when I saw the recent splurge of dupes on the high street I was intrigued to try a pair. I got £50 for the Disco pants I'd sold, and I saw on Missguided the disco pant dupes were £14.99. The Missguided dupes came today and I must say, I do like them.

I'm still quite unsure on how much I'd wear these bad boys. Id definitely get a few funny looks from the people in town, but I think these are more wearable through the day (they are a spandex-legging material, much like the AA high shine leggings) and the colour is just as vibrant. The Disco pants give you a smoother silhouette which I do love and the Missguided ones just don't pull you in as much, but I'm hoping I can deal with that for a night out scenario, as I really don't think Ill be wearing these enough to justify a massive £70 price tag. All in all, I'm pleased.

I'm really unsure how to wear them, I think they'd only be making an appearance on girls nights out, as I don't think they are the most 'sexy' things I've ever bought.

So what to do.. Keep or return? I have my 14 day return rule so I will have to see if they get worn!
